Ok so I know that I told you I wasn’t going to go shopping this week, and I hadn’t planned on it. I planned on going to Kid’s Night and going out to eat last night, but instead Rebekah came down with a fever and a double ear infection, so that being said I saved $15.00 by not going out to eat and had to pick up her prescription at Target for her ears, so while I was there I picked up some deals that I had seen on other blogs this week. I also ran by Food City for their toilet paper this morning and we did go to CVS on Sunday for toothpaste….so maybe I did shop! I took the money out of my entertainment budget for it though, since it is the end of the month and I wasn’t going to use it on anything else entertaining. So here’s what I ended up with:

Food City:

2 9-rolls of Charmin 2.99 each on sale for 3.99 had 2/1.00 coupons for various mailers (not sure that this was good?? What is good for TP?)

Target:

2 Johnson’s trial sized baby shampoo=FREE .97 each had 2/1.00 off printable no longer available

2 Johnson’s buddies=FREE .97 each had 2/1.00 off printable coupons

4 Activa yogurts .84 each on sale for 1.84 had 4/1.00 off coupons

3 dozen eggs .99 each, I stocked up on these because at Kroger eggs have gone up to 1.52 a dozen YIKES!! And my boys love eggs.

CVS:

Colgate Max Fresh toothpaste .24 after sale ecb and .75 off coupon, and I earned $2.00 more in ecb’s for next week.

So I spent $15.00 this week, and I saved $15.00 this week. But I could not pass up free and I needed toilet paper, with Julia being potty trained now I am going through that stuff like crazy! All the more motivation for me to get this house paid for, the older my kids get the more expensive they become! I know I will look back and think, remember when all I needed to buy was a few diapers once a month?? It’s crazy!
